Will Green initially graduated with a first-class honours degree in neuroscience from Nottingham University in 2003. He went on to study medicine at the same institution and graduated in 2007. He underwent surgical and urological training in the East Midlands, including a fellowship at the Jon van Geest Cancer Research Centre where he completed a masters degree in prostate cancer biomarkers. After his training Will undertook a fellowship in bladder and kidney cancer surgery at the Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth, Western Australia.
Will is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Nottingham City Hospital where he has a specialist interest in all urological cancers and leads the bladder cancer service. He regularly performs cystectomy and nephrectomy along with all general urology and diagnostics. Will has a strong interest in cutting edge research and is Clinical lead for Research and Innovation for the cancer division of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. He has published extensively and is a reviewer for the Journal of Clinical Urology. Will was recently appointed an Honorary Assistant Professor at Nottingham University.
Outside of work he is married with 3 young sons, is a keen sportsman and loves to travel and carry out as much DIY as he can.
